Special prices for youth groups
Winter camps are a perfect event for youth groups. Your group will have a cabin to yourselves while we handle all the meals and programming. Even better, for every cabin filled, two leaders can come for free!
What To Expect:
Our winter camps are jam-packed with snowy fun. Each day includes a chapel time with speaking and music, outdoor activities, indoor games in our gym, and silly songs around the campfire.
Our outdoor activities can include anything from hockey and skating on the rink, to sledding down on our brand-new toboggan hill and luge track, to something silly like human dog sled racing!
Campers sleep in groups of 6-10 in heated cabins that include a bathroom and shower. They will be served three catered meals per day plus a snack before bed time.

- Skating Helmet (Note: campers must have a helmet to skate)
- Toque & Mittens
- PJ’s & extra socks
- Multiple layers of clothes including warm base layers and sweaters
- Winter Coat & Snow Pants
- Indoor Running Shoes
- Warm outdoor shoes with lots of extra socks.
Frequently Asked Questions
What COVID restrictions are in place? Do I need to show proof of vaccination or get a test?
In order to offer accommodation for mixed cohorts as well as indoor eating, all current Gull Lake events must follow the Alberta Government’s Restriction Exemption Program (REP). That means that any campers over 12 will need to show a proof of vaccination document with a QR code OR a privately paid for negative rapid antigen test taken within the previous 72 hours. Campers and leaders over 18 will need to show ID as well. Mask need to be worn unless you’re eating, drinking, doing a sports activity, or hanging out inside your private cabin or room. No masks are needed when outside, and there are no social distancing requirements while masked or outside. If you have any cold or flu like symptoms, please cancel! Even last minute, you will get a full refund.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel anytime for COVID-related reasons and receive a full refund, no questions asked. For non- COVID reasons, we ask that attendees cancel two weeks before the retreat so that we can change our catering order.
Can a camper sign up alone?
Absolutely! Campers can request to be put in a cabin with their friends, otherwise you will be assigned to a cabin with a cabin leader. You will have lots of chances to make friends during the weekend.
Do you accommodate food allergies and restrictions?
We sure do! Our talented partners at HT Catering are able to accommodate all dietary restrictions. Please give specific instructions regarding your food allergy or restriction using the online registration form.
