Summer Staff

Hey there! Thanks so much for your interest in joining the summer team at Gull Lake Centre. At GLC we have the goal of delivering excellent summer camp programming, giving kids the BEST week of their year. And it’s much more than that. We exist to make space for kids so they can meet and be transformed by Jesus.

The theme and vision for Summer 2025 is “Rise Up”.  God’s call on our lives is to rise up and join Him in his work of redemption in the world.  Isaiah 40:31 says, “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."  When we rise and say yes to God’s call, He will give us the strength to do so. Our summer staff are people who are ready to answer that call at camp.  You will rise up and be an example to the campers that come in what it looks like to follow Jesus. You will also be an example of what it is to have a crazy amount of fun, make lifelong connections and worship the God who made you and loves you!

Being on staff is an absolute blast. It will likely be one of the most transformative and impactful jobs you will ever have. At the same time, we work hard and have high standards for who we hire on staff. We like to hire people who are:

  • Jesus-y – Exceptionally kind, gentle, and have love for kids and God DEEP in their bones.

  • Humble – Willing to do any work asked of them. Don’t care too much for titles. Teachable. Always working to build up those around them.

  • Skilled – Know what they’re doing, make solid plans, and are always looking for ways to improve.

  • Resourceful – Able to take limited resources and build something insanely awesome. Creative. No big budgets needed to make big memories.

  • Motivated - Wanting to go big and do things that have never been done before. Won’t quit until the job is done.

If that sounds like you, keep reading!

Here are the details you need to know:
