Climbing

Explore the world of climbing through both auto-belay routes, our technical route and bouldering at Gull Lake Centre. Campers have the opportunity to grasp various techniques and reach their maximum climbing potential. The climbing wall is composed by multiple walls with diverse difficulty levels, challenging participants of all ages in terms of strength and technique. Additionally, there's an indoor bouldering wall for a different climbing experience. The climbing activity focuses on ensuring kids feel at ease with climbing in a secure environment.

Sports

Get ready to elevate your game with sports, where you play your favourites as well as explore new games and sports that go beyond the ordinary. Ever played soccer in Bumper Balls? This activity loves to take the familiar and make it awesome, introducing campers to sports they wouldn't typically find in a gym class. From honing coordination and agility with games like Spikeball, Speedball, and dodgeball to Crossnet, our sports activity offers an action-packed blend of the best from gym class and some new ones. If you thrive on being active, Sports has an exciting lineup waiting just for you.

Arts 

Embark on a hands-on creative journey with unique art projects such as ceramics, where campers will choose a mold and glaze their way to beautiful masterpieces. Whether it's crafting a personalized mug, a stylish pencil holder, or a decorative art piece, every camper is sure to create something special. Guided by our experienced leader, campers receive step-by-step instructions, learning essential skills and techniques. In this laid-back and welcoming environment, the arts activity caters to every camper, fostering a space where creativity flourishes, and unique, tangible creations come to life.  

Projectiles

Dive into the thrilling world of Projectiles at Gull Lake Centre, where the focus is on things that soar through the air. Campers engage in a diverse range of activities, from archery to hatchet throwing, setting the stage for an adventure in projectile mastery. Our projectiles activity encourages creativity with the design of personalized targets, and exploring different game modes. Our experienced leaders will make sure that safety rules are followed to guarantee maximum fun and keep safety at the top of our priorities

The Great Gull Lake Baking Show

Under the summer sun, campers whip up themed cakes with flour, sugar, and laughter. It's like a creative war zone, with the campers rocking aprons, sculpting and decorating their edible masterpieces. The theme is totally up to them, whether they're vibing with a jungle safari, embarking on a cosmic journey, or chilling in a fantastical fairytale. Amid the mess, friendships rise, and a grand finale is a dessert that screams summer camp vibes. And hey, when you’re showcasing your baking skills, make sure to not just impress but blow the minds of our esteemed judges, leaving them stunned by your culinary prowess and imaginative style.

NEW!!!: Robotics

The future is here at our Robotics activity, campers dive into the world of building, coding, and competing with their very own robots. Campers will unlock problem-solving skills, creativity, and a passion for creation through basic coding, campers will engange in fierce battles, exciting races, and multiple challenges using the robots. It doesn’t matter if you have never done anything related to coding or robotics, our leaders are trained and ready to teach step by step the basics of coding our very kid-friendly robots.

NEW!!!: Giant Swing

Wanting a big thrill? The search is over! Our new Giant Swing is ready to give you that feeling of butterflies in your stomach. Safety and fun are priority when we deal with big heights, our leaders will be trained on running the equipment and ensuring safety rules are followed by campers. The giant swing will send you soaring through the air, you’ll feel the rush of adrenaline as you swing higher and higher, gaining a bird’s-eye view of the surrounding wilderness. It’s a perfect mix of excitement and courage—pushing your limits, challenging your fears, and enjoying the breeze all at once!

Canoeing/ Paddleboarding

Immerse yourself in a world of aquatic exploration at Gull Lake's new Canoeing and Paddleboarding activity. Campers will learn the art of canoeing, navigating their canoe, and mastering essential strokes. We have all sorts of paddle games ready for campers. For those seeking a more individualized adventure, Paddleboarding offers the perfect balance of tranquility and excitement. Safety is paramount, with thorough water safety training provided, ensuring campers not only build valuable water skills but also create lasting memories surrounded by the natural beauty of Gull Lake.

Wakesurf

Campers in our wakesurf activity will delve into the art of wakesurfing behind a specially equipped boat with ballasts and a wedge. With determination and expert guidance, they hone the delicate balance on their wakesurf boards, riding the waves with increasing finesse. As their skills progress, the thrill intensifies when campers, feeling confident, attempt the ultimate challenge of letting go of the tow rope, relishing the freedom of surfing the wake unaided. For those campers already riding the wake like seasoned pros, the opportunity to push their limits emerges—mastering a 360-degree spin or navigating the waters in a switch stance adds an extra layer of excitement to their wakesurfing exploits.

Lasertag

Gear up for pulse-pounding excitement at Gull Lake's Laser Tag! This adrenaline-fueled experience takes the thrill of traditional laser tag to a whole new level. Set in either our obstacle course field or amidst the towering poplars, campers will navigate obstacles, strategize with teammates, and engage in heart-pounding battles of skill and strategy. Under the guidance of trained leaders, participants will hone their teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking skills while enjoying the immersive and high-energy world of laser tag at its finest.

Wakeboard, Waterski and Kneeboarding

We have new booms off the sides of our ski boats that we are excited to use to teach wakeboarding, waterskiing and kneeboarding! Under the expert guidance of our instructors, campers begin their journey by mastering the basics off the boom of the boat. With each determined attempt, they soon progress to the challenge of a longer line, carving through the water's surface with newfound skill and confidence. Their triumphant progress reflects in proud smiles as they conquer the waves. For those already adept at wakeboarding and kneeboarding, the thrill intensifies as they begin learning the exhilarating skill of jumping the wake, and for those already adept at waterskiing, learning the techniques of carving past the wake in tight turns will add an extra layer of excitement to their watersport adventures.

Tubing

Get ready for an adrenaline-packed adventure at summer camp as campers hop onto tubes hitched to a speeding boat. Gripping the handles, they'll feel the rush of wind as they skim across the lake, aiming to stay upright and avoid the refreshing plunge into the water below. The thrill intensifies as campers share laughs and excitement with friends on neighboring tubes, creating an unforgettable bonding experience. Whether it's navigating wild twists and turns or simply enjoying the ride, tubing brings the perfect mix of thrill and camaraderie to the sun-soaked days of camp.
