Summer Staff

Hey there! Thanks so much for your interest in joining the summer team at Gull Lake Centre. At GLC we have the goal of delivering excellent summer camp programming, giving kids the BEST week of their year. And it’s much more than that. We exist to make space for kids so they can meet and be transformed by Jesus.

The theme and vision for Summer 2024 is “Dive In”.  In order to dive in to something you have to know what you are diving in to… in other words, you have to trust what you are diving in to.  We will have conversations with the campers around who and what they trust… and ultimately share why we trust that God is not only real, but He is Lord of everything and that is why we follow Him.  That is a big, incredibly important job, meaning we need the best people possible.

Being on staff is an absolute blast. It will likely be one of the most transformative and impactful jobs you will ever have. At the same time, we work hard and have high standards for who we hire on staff. We like to hire people who are:

  • Jesus-y – Exceptionally kind, gentle, and have love for kids and God DEEP in their bones.

  • Humble – Willing to do any work asked of them. Don’t care too much for titles. Teachable. Always working to build up those around them.

  • Skilled – Know what they’re doing, make solid plans, and are always looking for ways to improve.

  • Resourceful – Able to take limited resources and build something insanely awesome. Creative. No big budgets needed to make big memories.

  • Motivated - Wanting to go big and do things that have never been done before. Won’t quit until the job is done.

If that sounds like you, read on!

Here are the details you need to know:
