Advent and Winter Camp Registration

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThe annual Advent Retreat (Nov. 25-27). December can be such a hectic month and Christ can almost get lost in all the hustle and bustle. This is a is a wonderful time set aside to pause, connect, and prepare to enter the season of Advent as we count down to Christmas. Open to all ages.

Winter Camp is like summer camp but with luging instead of boating, and boots instead of flip flops. We have one weekend for Jr. and Sr. High (Feb. 3-5) and one weekend for grade 4-6 (Mar. 3-5). It’s going to be awesome.

2015 Annual Report from Gull Lake Centre

It’s that time again when I send out the annual report. This is where I go into a deeper level of detail on how things are really going at the camp and speak candidly on our finances and overall organizational health. Each year I try to pick a different angle to report on and for this year I have focused specifically on why we do program the way we do. Why is it so expensive? Why do we do the activities we do? How do we create a space for campers to connect with Christ? There are also updates on the operations and capital finances, some plans for the future, and some statistics (yay!). It’s 18 pages long, so feel free to skim it over and pick and choose the sections you want to read.

Thank you for caring,

Steve Roadhouse,
Executive Director

Winter LTD Retreat

The time is nearly here. We get to reconnect! The LTD Winter Retreat is a weekend set aside for LTD’s. It’s days away, Feb 19-21st. We invite you to come, reflect, and take time to live in the fullness of life right here and now. This weekend we’ll be playing the game Connect 4. Not literally. Although you can do that too. Camp creates space where 4 intentional relationships can connect. The vision of this weekend is to cultivate a space where you can come and deepen your relationship with God, with each other, with the world around you, and with yourself.

“Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.” ~John 15:4. Let’s remain connected.
